Cheryl was born and raised in Metcalf Illinois and now resides in Chrisman Illinois. She is married to Mark and has three sons Trent, Jim and Jon, beautiful daughter in laws, and six grandkids Sage, Gentry, Morgan, Grace, Ava and Evan all of whom she is very proud of.
Cheryl has worked for Pleasant Meadows for the last 35 years in our Dietary Department. She started as a Dietary Aide and is now a cook for the department.
Cheryl stated that she gets the most enjoyment out of her job by being able to talk to the residents. She states that one of her favorite moments working here was seeing and visiting with our Volunteers and working on the membership meal that we used to provide at the facility for them. She says that the biggest challenge she has faced over the years at Pleasant Meadows is the changes in the Dietary Department and the changes in the facility as well.
When asked what advice she would give current or future employees of Pleasant Meadows, Cheryl stated “be nice and kind, do your job well and help others in the Dietary Department and other departments throughout the facility as well.
Pleasant Meadows would like to thank Cheryl for all of her years of employment. We are very lucky to have her!
