February 2024 Employee of the Month Ashley Winland

February 15, 2024 //  by activitydir

Ashley Winland grew up in Rossville IL. and now resides in Chrisman IL.. Her dad is Jeff Winland, her mother was Yvette Crothers and her Stepmother was Jennie Winland (both of whom are now in heaven). Ashley has a significant other Steve Vestal and 3 children Brayden, Bryley and Kenzley plus 2 bonus kiddos Lucy and Sam whom she is all very proud of! Ashley has worked for Pleasant Meadows for the past 8 years. She started out as our Admissions Assistant and now is our Social Services Director. Ashley states that the most rewarding part of her job is getting to build new relationships with our residents and their families. She states that some of her favorite memories are learning life lessons, hearing amazing life stories and witnessing all of our residents success stories. She states that the biggest challenge of her career was working through Covid. It was life changing for so many. It was also heartbreaking at times but so many survived and for that she is truly grateful. When asked what advice she would give to future PMSL employees she stated remember that smiles are contagious and can make a resident’s day! She enjoys spending her free time with her kids which are her life and she enjoys watching them grow up. PMSL would like to thank Ashley for the wonderful job she does for our residents each and every day! She always goes above and beyond!
