Who We’re Looking For:

  • Current RN or LPN license in Illinois
  • Strong patient assessment and care planning skills
  • Experience with IV therapy, catheterization, and tube feeding (preferred for RNs)
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner a plus)
  • Experience in LTC, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, or Home Health is a plus, but not required

At Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, we are a dedicated and compassionate facility that deeply cares about both our residents and employees. We are currently seeking a dependable and caring Transportation Aide to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and scheduled activities.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during transport by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle for transportation purposes.
  • Communicate kindly and effectively with residents, ensuring positive and supportive interactions.
  • Ensure timely and safe transport to and from appointments and events.
  • Adhere to all local and state driving regulations and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by campus administration.

Schedule

  • Full-time hours, primarily daytime.
  • Flexibility required for occasional evenings or weekends when residents need transportation.

Requirements

  • Valid Illinois driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with residents and staff.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to assist in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and comfort.
