February 2024 PMSL Department Highlights
Marketing Department: We are currently taking applications for available rooms on our Independent Unit. Sutton Community Center in Paris on Tuesday, March 12th, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and at the Georgetown Library on Tuesday, March 19th, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Come and join the fun!

Activity Department: Our Department has been very busy this month handing out Valentine’s Day Roses and Cards to all of our Residents. We would like to thank everyone that purchased or donated for roses and to all that sent cards. We could not do what we do without a wonderful community like you! We crowned our King and Queen for 2024 and would like to say congratulations to our Queen Sandra Drollinger and King Phillip McKitrick.
February 2024 Employee of the Month Ashley Winland
Ashley Winland grew up in Rossville IL. and now resides in Chrisman IL.. Her dad is Jeff Winland, her mother was Yvette Crothers and her Stepmother was Jennie Winland (both of whom are now in heaven). Ashley has a significant other Steve Vestal and 3 children Brayden, Bryley and Kenzley plus 2 bonus kiddos Lucy and Sam whom she is all very proud of! Ashley has worked for Pleasant Meadows for the past 8 years. She started out as our Admissions Assistant and now is our Social Services Director. Ashley states that the most rewarding part of her job is getting to build new relationships with our residents and their families. She states that some of her favorite memories are learning life lessons, hearing amazing life stories and witnessing all of our residents success stories. She states that the biggest challenge of her career was working through Covid. It was life changing for so many. It was also heartbreaking at times but so many survived and for that she is truly grateful. When asked what advice she would give to future PMSL employees she stated remember that smiles are contagious and can make a resident’s day! She enjoys spending her free time with her kids which are her life and she enjoys watching them grow up. PMSL would like to thank Ashley for the wonderful job she does for our residents each and every day! She always goes above and beyond!
PMSL Valentine’s Day King and Queen
Congratulations to our new Valentine’s Day Queen Sandra Drollinger and our new Valentine’s Day King Phillip McKitrick! Their families, staff and residents came out in full force to say congratulations to them both! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
Valentine’s Day Bingo
We started our Valentine’s Day off right with a game of Bingo. Residents got to choose from an assortment of prizes and enjoyed the Valentines’ Day decorations on their Bingo tables too!
