Kristy Dickens was born in Rochester NY to Kimberly Hicks and moved to Danville IL. She has one sister Danielle Graham and one brother Ronnie Dickens. She has two daughters Lakeyn Atwood and Brooklyn Cheesman. Kristy has worked as a C.N.A for PMSL for the last two years. When asked what she most enjoys about her position she states that knowing she can give the best care possible to the residents. Her favorite moment at PMSL was coming to work and bonding with her co-workers and residents. She states that the biggest challenge that she has faced in her career has been critical thinking, knowing what to do in a very stressful situation. Her advice to current and future PMSL employees is take time to get to know the residents, talk with them, listen to their stories and understand their preferences, they will love it and you! Always take your time and offer assistance to other’s when needed, never take on more than what you can handle and always ask for help before you get overwhelmed. PMSL would like to say thank you to Kristy for her dedication and kindness to our residents. We are lucky to have her!
